The Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) Plus is a system for enhancing driving dynamics and stability. The electronically controlled rear differential lock works by varying torque distribution to the rear wheels. The PTV Plus optimizes steering response and precision by selectively applying brake pressure to the left or right rear wheel. Not only does the Porsche Cayenne GTS provide enhanced dynamics but, it also offers Porsche Stability Management. This feature helps stabilize the vehicle in hazardous road scenarios. The electric control system uses sensors to continuously monitor the direction, speed, velocity and lateral acceleration of the car. The traction is also enhanced when accelerating on inconsistent road surfaces. You can tackle any terrain with these systems!
The Cayenne GTS also offers adaptive cruise control with Porsches Active Safe. This system uses a radar sensor to monitor the road up to 650 feet ahead. The integrated Porsche Active Safe visually and audibly warns the driver of a potential collision and briefly tugs on the brakes.
