It’s the Porsche that’s taking the internet by storm. In fact, the pink Porsche Taycan is drawing massive interest from sports car lovers worldwide.
The Taycan is Porsche’s incredibly powerful and incredibly popular all-electric car.
And for some reason, the so-called pink Porsche Taycan seems to be captivating the public and breaking the Internet.
But is it technically pink?
Let’s take a closer look.
The color we’re talking about on the pink Porsche Taycan is actually called Frozen Berry Metallic shade.
And it was created by two female Porsche designers.
It’s a pinkish, steely rose paint color that gives the Porsche Taycan a rather feminine but somehow edgy look. And it’s very popular.
And it’s a nice break from most of the car colors on the road: white, brown, blue, and so forth.
So why not go with a Frozen Berry Porsche Taycan?
In the past few years, it’s been all about the metallics. Along with Porsche’s Mamba Green Metallic, there’s Frozen Blue Metallic, Coffee Beige Metallic, Cherry Metallic, and the fan favorite Frozen Berry Metallic.
It’s just one of the impressive Porsche exterior paint colors you can choose.
It resembles the pale pinks used in the ‘50s but with a metallic update.
They call it Frozen Berry Taycan we call it the Pink Porsche Taycan.
What’s that you say? Pink is too sedate for your wild one-of-a-kind taste?
Fear not: We understand that your Porsche is a symbol of you and your lifestyle.
So why settle for anything less than perfection when it comes to every detail, including exterior paint color?

Porsche knows how important these details are to you. So it recently expanded its “Paint to Sample” choices to more than 160 colors.
The new colors are available on every single model in Porsche’s lineup, from the 911 to the Taycan, from the Cayenne to the Panamera.
Already known for its seemingly endless array of customization options, Porsche says it’s simply responding to what its customers want: More custom colors.
The newly expanded color program is courtesy of a new color mixing bank at its factory in Zuffenhausen, Germany. Many of the new Paint-to-Sample colors are modern takes on historic Porsche colors such as Rubystar and Acid Green.
And if none of the newly available colors strike your fancy Porsche’s Exclusive Manufaktur program will help you find your perfect match. (Available on all models except the Cayenne SUV).
But keep in mind that personal colors can take some time. That’s because Porsche conducts a feasibility study on each new color you send to them and that process can take up to 11 months and cost up to 25,660 if you are choosing the color for a 911 Turbo/Turbo S and GT cars.
So how does it work? If your color is outside the Porsche range you simply send a color sample to us, the local dealer, and then Porsche carries out that lengthy feasibility study.
But with the newly revamped “Paint to Sample” program you have more than 160 pre-approved colors available. Making it possible to get your hands on the exclusive pink Porsche Taycan.
These colors are in addition to the wide selection of paint choices Porsche already offers, including several no-cost, non-metallic colors, and additional-cost metallic colors ranging from $650 to $840 depending on the model.
Special color options are also available for between $2,580 and $3,270 depending on the model.
For most of the newly expanded 160 colors, delivery times are shortened via the new mixing bank. At the Porsche Paint shop in Zuffenhausen: batch comparison plates are painted and serve as color reference samples during the final inspection of the vehicle.
Paint to Sample costs $11,430 for most 911 and 718 models. For 718 GT and 911 Turbo, Turbo S as well as the 911 GT3 models, the price is about $12,830.
